Ghostscript

Ghostscript is a free interpreter of the page description languages PostScript and Portable Document Format (PDF).
It consists of a software package that provides an application programming interface (API) for displaying PostScript and PDF on printers or monitor screens. It offers a high degree of compatibility with the proprietary "original" by Adobe.
To view PDF and PostScript files you will need also Ghostview (user interface for GhostScript).
