N2  - Die Verwendbarkeit des Partizips I als Prädikativ soll laut der einschlägigen Literatur sehr restringiert sein. Die Restriktionen werden aber teilweise sehr unterschiedlich aufgefasst. Dieser Beitrag setzt sich zum Ziel, die Stichhaltigkeit verschiedener semantischer, morphologischer und syntaktischer Kriterien zu überprüfen und die Unzulänglichkeit der bisherigen Regelformulierungen aufzuzeigen.
N2  - According to relevant literature the use of the 1st participle as a predicative is said to be very restricted. The restrictions, however, are understood in many different ways. The aim of this article is to verify the validity of semantic, morphological and syntactic criteria and to show the insufficiencies of the rules formulated so far.
