N2  - This study evaluates the efficacy of the treatment of alopecia areata in the dermatology department of the university clinic in Würzburg, Germany and shows prognostic factors that may be detrimental in regards to a positive outcome. Furthermore, the influence of the therapy's side-effects on everyday life are shown.
