N2  - Die historische Entwicklung des Apollonia-Kults wird anhand einer Sammlung von mehr als 200 Kleinen Andachtsbildern über einen Zeitraum von 500 Jahren dargestellt. Mit der Entwicklung der Sonderpatronate im Spätmittelalter, die der Heiligen das Zahnwehpatronat einbrachte, verbreitete sich der Apollonia-Kult in kurzer Zeit über ganz Europa. Das Kleine Andachtsbild der hl. Apollonia als eine verbreitete und volkstümliche Bildkunst erweist sich als reiche Informationsquelle über religiöse Bräuche und Gewohnheiten im Zusammenhang mit dem Zahnschmerz.
N2  - The historic development of the apollonia-cult is presented by an example of a collection of more than 200 holy cards of a 500-year period. By the special patronage in the late Middle Ages, which was retrieved to the saint the patronage against toothache, the apollonia-cult disseminated in all Europe in short time. The holy card of St. Apollonia as a disseminated and popular graphic art shows a rich source of informations concerning religious practise in connection with toothache.
