They were composed probably in Asia Minor during the second or third century CE. The bulk of these hymns are made up of divine epithets often linked together in chains of considerable length. The lexicon attempts to give a comprehensive account of the roughly 850 epithets, bringing together the most relevant information scattered in the scholarly literature and adding others from various sources (literary, epigraphic, lexicographic, scholia etc.) in order to provide an overview of their usage and the main details of their models.}, subject = {Orphica}, language = {en} } @book{Wang2008, author = {Wang, Wen}, title = {Validation of shRNA clones for gene silencing in 293FT cells}, url = {http://nbn-resolving.de/urn:nbn:de:bvb:20-opus-25955}, publisher = {Universit{\"a}t W{\"u}rzburg}, year = {2008}, abstract = {...}, subject = {shRNA}, language = {en} } @book{KartenbeckZentgrafScheeretal.1971, author = {Kartenbeck, J. and Zentgraf, H. and Scheer, Ulrich and Franke, Werner W.}, title = {The nuclear envelope in freeze-etching}, isbn = {3-540-05538-X}, url = {http://nbn-resolving.de/urn:nbn:de:bvb:20-opus-40534}, publisher = {Universit{\"a}t W{\"u}rzburg}, year = {1971}, abstract = {No abstract available}, subject = {Anatomie}, language = {en} } @book{Wilhelm1989, author = {Wilhelm, Gernot}, title = {The Hurrians / [with a chapter by D. Split into three parts, this volume initially discusses the general perspectives of subjective well-being and addresses fundamental questions, secondly it discusses the dynamics of subjective well-being and more specific research issues to give a better understanding of the general phenomenon, and thirdly the book emphasizes the social context in which people experience and report their happiness and satisfaction. Digital discourse as the formation of new semiotic phenomena has crowned the rapid scientific and technological progress. Researchers' scientific achievements represented in the book are systemic and valid in terms of evidence-based narratives, which reflect the transformational horizon of information theory, communication theory, and theory of linguodidactics in modern English verbal, creative and digital environments. The book represents an integrated approach to the study of modern English as an open synergetic system, which requires a description of the relationship between verbal and nonverbal notions in digital space. The book integrates such innovative perspectives as the interaction of natural English and programming languages, cyber aggression as a communicative pattern in English-language digital discourse, ethics, and democratization of modern English language, relevant developments in the field of English language as a Foreign Language, and other related issues. These methods form the basis of traffic engineering, teletraffic theory, and analytical system dimensioning. The fundamentals of probability theory, stochastic processes, Markov processes, and embedded Markov chains are presented. Basic queueing models are described with applications in communication networks. Advanced methods are presented that have been frequently used in recent practice, especially discrete-time analysis algorithms, or which go beyond classical performance measures such as Quality of Experience or energy efficiency. Recent examples of modern communication networks include Software Defined Networking and the Internet of Things. Throughout the book, illustrative examples are used to provide practical experience in performance modeling and analysis. The idea is that elementary forms of consciousness are logically dependent not, as is commonly assumed, on ownership of an anatomical brain or nervous system, but on the intrinsic reflexivity that defines minimal selfhood. The book seeks to trace the logical pathway by which minimal selfhood gives rise to the possible appearance of consciousness. It is argued that in specific circumstances it thus makes sense to ascribe elementary consciousness to certain predatory single-celled organisms such as amoebae and dinoflagellates as well as to some of the simpler animals. Such an argument involves establishing exactly what those specific circumstances are and determining how elementary consciousness differs in nature and scope from its more complex manifestations.}, subject = {Selbst}, language = {en} }
