For this task, Raman and FT-IR Spectroscopy were employed for an investigation of all optically accessible lattice vibrations, i.e. phonons. To study the correlation effects as well as their specific connections to symmetry and compositional properties of the Multiferroic Manganites, the polarisation and temperature dependence of the phonons were considered explicitly.
