  abstract  = {This is a report on the more recent developments and the present state of research into educational psychology in German speaking countries. Particular emphasis is given to research on: parental upbringing and its effects on child development; the examination of socialization effects within and across different scbool systems; studies on teaching-leaming processes and on social interaction in the classroom; the systematic promotion of the development of cognitive abilities and motives in students; and, finally, the design of improved instruments in methods of describing, explaining and predicting school success. Subsequently, the report will look into problems in tbe practical application of research findings in educational psychology. Finally, there follows a sbort discussion of various metatheoretical positions in educational psycbology in German speaking countries and their possible effects on the future development of the field.},

  abstract  = {In the present secondary analysis the results of studies by Simons et al. (1975) and Schwarzer (1979) were critically reanalyzed. The central point of the reanalysis concerned the test of the causal models used, especially the question, if the technique of path analysis was correctly applied. Whereas some modifications seemed necessary in both srudies, there was no reason to question their main results.},

  abstract  = {Kinder aus drei Altersgruppen und Etwachsene beuneilten, wie schlimm jeweils zwei "Diebstahl" -Handlungen von unterschiedlich viel S{\"u}ßigkeitsmengen waren. Die Informationen {\"u}ber die gestohlenen Mengen wurden kombinien dargeboten mit dem Hinweis, daß sich der T{\"a}ter entschuldigte oder nicht bzw. daß ein Dritter dem Leidtragenden den Verlust entsch{\"a}digte oder nicht. Entschuldigung und Schadensh{\"a}he wirkten in allen Altersgruppen und im Vergleich miteinander gleich stark. Bei den beiden j{\"u}ngeren Gruppen wirkten alle drei variierten Geschichtenteile in gleichem Ausmaß auf die Uneile ein. Die Dritt-Entsch{\"a}digung wirkte bei Vorsch{\"u}lern und 7j{\"a}hrigen jedoch st{\"a}rker als bei lOj{\"a}hrigen und Etwachsenen. Die Bedeutung des Auftretens oder Fehlens von Alterstrends f{\"u}r die Entwicklung des moralischen Urteils wird diskutiert.},
