N2  - In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurden im Rahmen einer prospektiven, multizentrischen Registerstudie des europäischen Bauchwandhernienregisters (EuraHS) die Daten von Patienten, die aufgrund einer ventralen Bauchwandhernie, Narbenhernie und Parastomalhernie im Zeitraum zwischen Januar und einschließlich Juni 2013 operiert wurden, erfasst und analysiert. Zudem wurden die Patienten 2 Jahre begleitet und Follow-ups durchgeführt, um das Auftreten von Komplikationen und die Lebensqualität zu erfassen.
N2  - In the present study, data from patients operated because of primary ventral hernia, incisional ventral hernia and parastomal hernia in the period between January and June 2013 inclusive were collected and analysed in a prospective, multi-centre registry study of the European Registry of Abdominal Wall Hernias (EuraHS). In addition, the patients were accompanied for 2 years and follow-ups were performed to assess the occurrence of complications and quality of life.
