N2  - Die Implantation von Knochen ist überwiegend bei Knochenverlusten bzw. -defiziten indiziert. Diese Defekte entstehen im menschlichen Körper durch Tumore, Traumata, Entzündungen, Atrophien oder Missbildungen. Das Ziel dieser Studie war, die Einheilung von AAA-Bone und Grafton® mittels knöcherner Defektfüllung, -augmentation und –reparation und somit die Überlegenheit der osteoinduktiven Wirkung zu bestimmen. Hierfür sind die sogenannten osteoinduktiven Knochenmatrixproteine (BMPs) verantwortlich. Autolysierter, Antigen extrahierter, allogener Knochen wurde in der Zeit von 1990 bis 2003 an der Klinik und Poliklinik für Mund-, Kiefer-, Gesichtschirurgie der Universität Würzburg in 1123 Fällen bei 843 verschiedenen Patienten implantiert. Seit Anfang August 2000 werden Implantationen mit Grafton® durchgeführt. Bis August 2003 wurden 134 Eingriffe bei 122 verschiedenen Patienten durchgeführt.
N2  - The implantation of bone has its indication in bone defects, which are the results of a tumor, trauma, inflammation, atrophy or malformation. The purpose of this study was to assess the osseointegration of demineralized bone matrix (AAA-Bone and Grafton®) via defect fill, augmentation and reparation. The osteoinductive potency of AAA-bone and Grafton® is related to the conservation of bone matrix proteins (so called bone morphogenetic proteins) in the implant. From march 1990 to March 2003 AAA-bone was implanted in 1173 casts in 843 patients. From august 2000 to august 2003 grafton® was implanted in 134 casts in 122 patients.
