N2  - Die vorliegende Arbeit bezieht sich auf die Fragestellung ob Zusammenhänge zwischen Herzrhythmusstörungen und der Gleichgewichtsfunktion bestehen. In die Studie wurden 115 Patienten aus der Neurootologischen Abteilung eingeschlossen, wovon 75 Patienten Herzrhythmusstörungen in Form von Extrasystolen hatten. Patienten mit Extrasystolen hatten weniger Schwindelsymptome und vegetativen Symptome, wohingegen Grunderkrankungen häufiger anzutreffen waren als bei Patienten ohne Extrasystolen. Darüber hinaus zeigte sich bei Patienten mit Extrasystolen im Tret-CCG (Cranio-Corpo-Graphie) eine deutliche Rechtsabweichung. Eine Hörminderung trat häufiger bei Patienten mit Extrasystolen auf. Vestibuläre Stimulation führte zu einer leichtgradigen Erhöhung der Herzfrequenz und Anzahl der Extrasystolen. Die Studie weist darauf hin, dass das kardiovaskuläre System das vestibuläre System beeinflusst, wohingegen das vestibuläre System das kardiovaskuläre System nur geringfügig beeinflusst.
N2  - The presenting study analyzed the association between cardiac dysrhythmia and the function of the organ of equilibrium. 115 patients from the neurootological department were included. 75 patients had extrasystoles. Patients with extrasystoles had less vertigo symptoms and vegetative symptoms but more underlying diseases than patients without extrasystoles. Furthermore patients with extrasystoles deviated in the step test craniocorpography rightwards and had more hearing loss. Vestibular stimulation induced a slight increase of heart rate and number of extrasystoles. This study indicates an influence of the cardiovascular system on the vestibular system whereas the vestibular system has only a marginal influence on the cardiovascular system
