N2  - In der Zeit zwischen 1981 und 2003 befanden sich 150 Patienten wegen eines Primärtumors der Unterlippe in der Klinik und Poliklinik für Mund-, Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgie der Universität Würzburg in ambulanter und/oder stationärer Behandlung. Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Untersuchung wurden Patientenzahl, Alter, Geschlecht, Diagnose, Lokalisation und Tumorgröße, Faktoren für die Tumorentstehung sowie Therapie, Operationstechnik und postoperativer Verlauf erfasst und die sich aus diesen Daten ergebenden Korrelationen analysiert. Besonderes Augenmerk wurde dabei auf die angewandten Operationstechniken gelegt, insbesondere auf die Ergebnisse der Technik nach Bernard-Fries im Vergleich zu einer Modifikation dieser Methode, welche erstmals 1999 an der Würzburger Klinik praktiziert wurde.
N2  - Between 1981 and 2003, 150 patients have been treated inpatient or ambulatory at the Clinic and Policlinic for oral and maxillofacial Surgery of the University of Würzburg due to a primary tumor of the lower lip. In the course of this study the number of patients, their age, gender, diagnosis, localisation and size of the tumor, potential factors for the development of the tumor as well as the therapy, the method of surgery and the postoperative healing process have been recorded. Furthermore, the correlations resulting out of the collected data are analysed. In particular, attention has been payed to the surgical method, especially the results of the so called “Bernard-Fries technique” compared with a modification of this method, practised first at the Würzburg Clinic in 1999.
