N2  - Diese Studie im Rahmen eines IVF/ICSI Programmes beschäftigt sich mit der detaillierten Morphologie der Vorkern- und Embyonalstadien bei der extrakorporalen Befruchtung beim Menschen. Die morphologische Beurteilung der Zygoten und Embryonen während der Eizell- und Embryokultur ist von zentraler Bedeutung für den Erfolg der Behandlung, da damit die Entwicklung vitaler Embryonen vorhergesagt und die Auswahl hochwertiger Embryonen für den Transfer ermöglicht wird. Aufgrund der derzeitigen gesetzlichen Bestimmungen ist in Deutschland nur eine Auswahl von Vorkernstadien, bei denen es noch zu keiner Verschmelzung des weiblichen und männlichen Vorkerns gekommen ist, aber nicht von Embryonen gestattet. Damit kommt der extrakorporalen Befruchtung in Deutschland, im Gegensatz zur Situation in praktisch allen europäischen Ländern, der Beurteilung der Vorkernstadien (Zygoten) am ersten Tag der Kultur eine entscheidende Bedeutung zu.
N2  - This study in the setting of a IVF/ICSI program is engaged in the detailled morphological description of pronucleus- and embryonal stages for the extracorporal fertilisation in humans. The morphological judgement of zygotes and embryos during the cultur of oocytes and embryos is of central importance for the success of the treatment, because it is possible to predict the development of vital embryos and select viable embryos for the transfer in the uterus. Due to the legal conditions in germany the choice is only at the stage of zygotes allowed, because the maternal and the paternal pronucleus are not jet merged together. In order to this situation – in contrast to practical all european countries - is the selection of pronuclear stages (zygotes) after one day of culture of decisive importance for programs with extracorporal fertilisation in germany.
