N2  - Diese Studie bewertet die Ergebnisse und Indikationen der Arthroskopie am oberen Sprunggelenk. Im Zeitraum von 1987 bis 1997 wurden 272 Patienten arthroskopisch untersucht. 143 dieser Patienten konnten nach objektiven und radiologischen Kriterien, zusätzlich nach subjektiven Parametern untersucht und nach dem Kitaoka-Score analysiert werden. Zusammenfassend zeigen sich, nach objektiven und subjektiven Kriterien, die besten Ergebnisse für die Indikationsstellung bei freien Gelenkkörpern, sowie primärer und sekundärer Arthrose. Komplikationen ergaben sich in 9% der untersuchten Patienten (Nervenirritation). Das arthroskopische Verfahren stellt nach unseren Untersuchungsergebnissen ein schonendes und komplikationsarmes Verfahren dar, welches besonders bei der Indikationsstellung freier Gelenkkörper und Arthrose einen hohen Stellenwert hat.
N2  - This study evaluates the results and the indications for arthroscopies of the upper angle. In the time between 1987 to 1997, 272 patients were undergoing an anthroscopic operation of the upper angle, from whom we evaluated 143 patients, after excluding the indication osteochondrosis dissecans and material-removal. These patients were evaluated to clinical and radiological parameters, also to subjectiv parameters an analysed by the Kitaoka-Score. In summery the best objectiv and subjectiv results were achieved for the indication: free bodies of the joint and primary as well as for secondary arthrose. Complications were only seen in 9% (nerve irritation). In summary the arthroscopic operation method is a careful method, with rare complications and especially very good results for the indication arthrosis and free bodies of the joint.
