Monopolar Depressive (DSMIII- R; MD) zeigten oft Leukoaraiose, Infarkte waren mit MD, Kontusionen und frühkindliche Schäden mit bipolarer Erkrankung assoziiert (BP; ANCOV A, p< .1). Kortikale Läsionen waren bei BP häufiger, jedoch fehlten signifikante Effekte von Läsionsort oder -zeitpunkt auf die Polarität der Erkrankung (ANOV A). Bei einigen Infarktpatienten kam es zur Verlaufsänderung (Chronifizierung, Bipolarität) nach Infarkt, alle Post-Infarkt-Ersterkrankungen waren bipolar.
N2  - 46 patients with affective disorder and a pathologic CT scan were studied (infarct: 22, brain trauma: 6, leukoaraiosis: 11 , perinatal brain damage: 7). Unipolar depressives (DSM-I1I-R; MD) frequently had le ukoaraiosis, brain infarct was associated with unipolar depression , brain trauma and perinatal damage with bipolar illness (BP; ANCOV A , p < .1). Corticallesions were more frequ ent in BP, but ANOV A revealed no significant effect of lesion location and time of insu lt on illness polarity. In some patients with stroke course of illness changed (Ionger phases, bipolarity), first onset post-stroke went along with bipolar illness.

N2  - In einem Kollektiv von 130 MR-tomographisch untersuchten psychiatrischen Patienten (axiale T2-SE-Sequenz) wurden Zahl und räumliche Verteilung von hyperintensen Marklagerläsionen ("white matter lesions"; WM L) erfaßt und die Ventricle-to-brain-Ratio (VBR) bestimmt. Eine Konfigurationsfrequenzanalyse auf der Grundlage der räumlichen WMLVerteilung erlaubte die Abgrenzung von vier Patientengruppen: 1. keine WML (n = 35), 2. WML rechts frontotemporal (n = 23), 3. WML bifrontal (n = 12), 4. WML ubiquitär (n = 16). Die während 3 Jahren beobachteten psychopathologischen Symptome dieser Patienten wurden retrospektiv nach dem AMDP-Systemdokumentiert. In der Gruppe mit ubiquitären WML überwogen organisch-psychopathologische Ttems, die VER war größer als in den anderen Gruppen (ANOVA;p < 0,001). Die räumliche W M L- Verteilung erklärte 10,24 % der Gesamtvarianz psychopathologischer M erkmalsverteilung in den Gruppen. Das Patientenalter (MANCOVA; p < 0,021), nicht aber die VER hattesignifikanten Einfluß auf das psychopathologische Symptomprofil. Nach Ausblendung der Patientengruppe mit ubiquitären WMLblieb der Einfluß der WML-Verteilung auf die psychopathologische Symptomatiksignifikantc (p <0,05). Bifrontale WML waren mit Denkstörung, rechts frontotemporale WML mit affektiven Symptomen assoziiert. Die Befunde sprechen für einen Einfluß der räumlichen Verteilung unspezifischer Marklagerläsionen auf die psychopathologische Symptomatik.
N2  - In a sampie of 130 patients who had undergone MRI (transverse TIweighted SE sequenee) patchywhite matter lesions (WML) were documented according to number and spatial distribution in the brain. Ventricle-to-Brain Ratio (VBR) was determined. Configural frequency analysis led to delineation of four patient groups on the basis of WML 10-cation: 1. no WML (n = 35), 2. right frontal-temporal WML (n = 23), 3. bifrontal WML (n = 12),4. WML in all/all but one brain region (n = 16). Psychopathological symptoms reported in the course of a maximum of 3 years were documen ted by chart review. In the 'pervasive WML' group psychopathological items characteristic of organic brain syndromes prevailed, mean VER exceeded values in all other groups (ANOVA, p < 0.001). WML spatial distribution accounted for 10.2 % oftotal psychopathological variance. Patient age, but not VER, had a significant impact on symptom profile (MANCOVA). When the 'pervasive WML' group was excluded, the finding of a significant effect of WML location on psychopathological symptom profiles was robust. Bifrontal WML were associated with thought incoherence, right frontal-temporal WML with affective symptoms. Findings support an impact of spatial distribution of unspecific WML on psychopathological symptoms in psychiatrie patients.

N2  - Background: Sterols and Sphingolipids form lipid clusters in the plasma membranes of cell types throughout the animal and plant kingdoms. These lipid domains provide a medium for protein signaling complexes at the plasma membrane and are also observed to be principal regions of membrane contact at the inception of infection. We visualized different specific fluorescent lipophilic stains of the both sphingolipid enriched and non-sphingolipid enriched regions in the plasma membranes of live protoplasts of Arabidopsis thaliana. Results: Lipid staining protocols for several fluorescent lipid analogues in plants are presented. The most emphasis was placed on successful protocols for the single and dual staining of sphingolipid enriched regions and exclusion of sphingolipid enriched regions on the plasma membrane of Arabidopsis thaliana protoplasts. A secondary focus was placed to ensure that these staining protocols presented still maintain cell viability. Furthermore, the protocols were successfully tested with the spectrally sensitive dye Laurdan. Conclusion: Almost all existing staining procedures of the plasma membrane with fluorescent lipid analogues are specified for animal cells and tissues. In order to develop lipid staining protocols for plants, procedures were established with critical steps for the plasma membrane staining of Arabidopsis leaf tissue and protoplasts. The success of the plasma membrane staining protocols was additionally verified by measurements of lipid dynamics by the fluorescence recovery after photobleaching technique and by the observation of new phenomena such as time dependent lipid polarization events in living protoplasts, for which a putative physiological relevance is suggested.

Nach einleitenden Bemerkungen zur Theorie der Schwellenkonzepte und zum Framework selbst steht der Kursinhalt mit den dazugehörigen Frames, Knowledge Practices und Dispositions im Fokus. Die Auswertung der Evaluation und ein Ausblick auf die Umsetzung des Kurses in der coronabedingten digitalen Lehre bilden den Schluss.
N2  - This article describes the design of a new one-shot information literacy session for students of medicine in the first semester at the University Library Würzburg. After giving a short introduction into the threshold concept and the theoretical background of the Frameworks for Information Literacy for Higher Education (Framework) we focus on the content of the course in terms of frames, knowledge practices and dispositions. Finally we analyse the evaluation outcomes and show how we transfor-med the session into an e-learning-based course.

Der Beitrag stellt vor, wie die Universitätsbibliothek Würzburg im Rahmen ihrer Veranstaltungen rund um das 400-jährige Jubiläum für die Studierenden im Lesesaal ein Escape Game konzipierte und veranstaltete. Nach einem kurzen Abriss, woher das Konzept des Live-Action Escape Game stammt, liegt der Fokus auf den konkreten Arbeitsschritten, die mit der Umsetzung dieses an wissenschaftlichen Bibliotheken bisher wenig vertretenen Formats verbunden waren.

N2  - Die Arbeitsgruppe Informationskompetenz im Bibliotheksverbund Bayern (AGIK Bay) veröffentlichte im Oktober 2020 das interaktive E-Tutorial S.P.U.T.N.I.K. zur Förderung der Informationskompetenz von Schüler*innen der Oberstufe, das sich inhaltlich am Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education orientiert. Der Artikel zeichnet die Entstehung des Tutorials in Kooperation mit Studierenden des Fachbereichs Archiv- und Bibliothekswesen der Hochschule für den öffentlichen Dienst in Bayern nach und skizziert die Herausforderungen bei der finalen Umsetzung durch die Universitätsbibliothek Würzburg. Das Tutorial ist als Moodle- und Ilias-kompatibles SCORM-Lernpaket mit vielen interaktiven Quizelementen konzipiert und in fünf Modulen aufgebaut. Es ist online zugänglich und steht zur Nachnutzung innerhalb der DACH-Bibliothekscommunity unter einer Creative Commons Lizenz bereit.
N2  - In October 2020 the Working Group for Information Literacy of the Bavarian Library Network (AGIK Bay) published the interactive e-tutorial S.P.U.T.N.I.K. to promote the information literacy of high school students. Its content is based on the Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education. The article describes the creation of the tutorial in cooperation with students from the Department of Archive Management and Library Science at the University of Applied Sciences for Public Service in Bavaria and outlines the challenges in the final implementation by the University Library of Würzburg. The tutorial is designed as a Moodle- and Ilias-compatible SCORM learning package with many interactive quiz elements and consists of five independent modules. The tutorial is accessible online and is available for re-use within the German-speaking library community as it has been published under a Creative Commons License.

N2  - This article examines so-called colonial discourses in Belgium on the former Sub-Saharan colony owned by the Belgian King, Leopold II., which today is known as the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) or the Congo-Kinshasa. After having introduced the colonial history of the DR Congo from the 15th century until 1910, an empirical analysis of the colonial discourses in Belgium from the 1890s until today will be illustrated in conjunction with Belgium’s linguistic-cultural division and the age-related divergence. Belgian colonial discourse is characterized by a historical misrepresentation by the political authorities while especially social forces have pled for a critical examination of their own colonial history in Belgium since the year 2000.

T1  - Tödliche Hirnmassenblutung infolge Vitamin-K-Mangels bei einem 9 Wochen alten Säugling

N2  - Intrakranielle Blutungen sind im Säuglingsalter seltene, aber lebensbedrohende Ereignisse. Neben Gefäßmissbildungen, Stoffwechseldefekten sowie Störungen der Blutgerinnung kommen v. a. nichtakzidentielle Traumata, Schütteltrauma in Betracht. Die klinische Diagnostik umfasst hinsichtlich der Blutungsgenese neben Sonographie und MRT als apparatives Verfahren auch eine Fundoskopie sowie laborchemische Analysen, insbesondere der Gerinnungsparameter. Für die Blutgerinnung ist das fettlösliche Vitamin K essenziell: Frühe, klassische und späte Vitamin-K-Mangel-Blutungen werden dabei unterschieden. Um ein gehäuftes Wiederauftreten von Vitamin-K-Mangel-Blutungen bei Neugeborenen und jungen Säuglingen zu verhindern, bedarf es einer hinreichenden Aufklärung der Eltern. Eine Verweigerung der Prophylaxe scheint Folge einer weltanschaulich begründeten Ablehnung der Schulmedizin und ein zunehmendes Phänomen in wohlhabenden Industrieländern zu sein.
N2  - Intracranial hemorrhages in infants are rare but life-threatening events. Apart from vascular malformations, metabolic disorders and coagulopathies, nonaccidental trauma, in particular shaken baby syndrome must be taken into consideration. Clinical diagnostic tests and procedures to further evaluate the etiology of the hemorrhage include sonography and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as imaging procedures as well as fundoscopy and laboratory tests, especially with respect to coagulation parameters. Fat-soluble vitamin K is essential for blood coagulation. A differentiation is made between classical and delayed hemorrhages due to vitamin K deficiency. In order to avoid an increased recurrence of bleeding due to vitamin K deficiency in neonates and young infants, an adequate clarification for the parents is necessary. A refusal of prophylaxis seems to be the result of an ideologically founded rejection of classical medicine and an increasing phenomenon in affluent industrial countries.

N2  - Das Thema der Erinnerung zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch Monika Marons bisher erschienene Werke. Der Aufsatz zeichnet nach, welche Funktion das Motiv des Erinnerns in den Texten Monika Marons spielt. Analysiert werden in diesem Kontext die Romane "Flugasche", "Die Überläuferin", "Stille Zeile Sechs", "Animal triste" und die Familiengeschichte "Pawels Briefe". Im Hinblick auf ihre nach der Jahrtausendwende erschienenen Romane "Endmoränen" und "Ach Glück" wird erörtert, ob bzw. inwiefern der politische Umbruch 1989/90 die Schreibweise Monika Marons beeinflusst hat.

N2  - Elektronische Semesterapparate, verstanden als kompakte Sammlungen der Literatur in elektronischer Form, die für eine Lehrveranstaltung benötigt werden, sind aus der universitären Lehre nicht mehr wegzudenken. Da die Universitäts- und Hochschulbibliotheken die Studienliteratur vorhalten, bietet es sich an, dass die Bibliotheken hier als Dienstleister fungieren und Wege finden, elektronische Semesterapparate einzurichten. Für die Hochschule insgesamt bietet ein zentralisierter Semesterapparat-Service die Möglichkeit, digitale Dokumente für die Lehre aus einer Hand, in standardisierter guter Qualität und rechtssicherer Form anbieten zu können. Im Sommersemester 2008 ging die UB Würzburg mit den elektronischen Semesterapparaten an den Start. Im Sinne einer "one stop"-Lösung wurden die im Auftrag der Dozenten gescannten kleinen Teile aus Büchern und Zeitschriften in die entsprechenden Kursräume der uniweiten E-Learning-Plattform "WueCampus" integriert. Der handgestrickte Workflow stieß bald an seine Grenzen. Dies und die steigende Nachfrage nach dem Service waren der Grund für die Entwicklung eines Workflowsystems für elektronische Semesterapparate, das die UB 2011 einführte. Mithilfe dieses Workflowsystems gelang es, zentrale Schritte im Bearbeitungsprozess zu automatisieren. Der Artikel resümiert die Anforderungen an ein Workflowsystem für elektronische Semesterapparate, stellt die einzelnen Module näher vor und resümiert die Erfahrungen mit dem neuem Workflowsystem.

N2  - This paper discusses complementation strategies in Spanish, focusing on a specific construction most speakers are not aware of: the complementation clause preceded by the verb conocer. Not being a typical complement-taking verb, conocer surprises with a stable and persistent presence throughout the centuries, from Old Spanish to Modern Spanish. After giving an introduction into the field of complementation clauses and one of its main focus of study, grammatical mood, this study uses empirical data from the corpus programs CORDE, CREA and CORPES XXI to show the usage and prevalence of the construction in question. In doing so, this analysis gives a quantitative insight, exemplifying the results with several examples from all ages.

N2  - Seit dem Wintersemester 2014/15 setzt die Universitätsbibliothek (UB) Würzburg in der Zentralbibliothek sogenannte BibScouts ein. Das sind studentische Hilfskräfte, die die Nutzerinnen und Nutzer der Bibliothek – hauptsächlich Studierende – beim Kopieren, Drucken, Scannen und beim Auffinden von Büchern unterstützen. Die BibScouts haben keinen festen Standort, sondern helfen direkt vor Ort, an den Kopierern, Computern, Scan-Stationen und in den Lesesälen. Erkennbar sind sie an blauen Westen mit dem Logo der UB Würzburg sowie dem Hinweis »Fragen? Ich helfe weiter!« auf dem Rücken. Die BibScouts, die nur während der Vorlesungszeit eingesetzt werden, entlasten durch ihre Anwesenheit das bibliothekarische Personal an der Informationstheke.

N2  - Durch Umsetzungen von Alkalimetallcarbonaten mit Silber und Schwefel in der Schmelze wurden die ternären Sulfide K2Ag4S3 und Rb2Ag4S3 dargestellt. Röntgenographische Untersuchungen an Einkristallen führten zu einem neuen Schichtenstrukturtyp, in dem röhrenförmige Silber-Schwefel-Anordnungen mit nahezu trigonal planar von Schwefel koordinierten Silberatomen über gemeinsame S-Atome zu Schichten"verknüpft werden, zwischen denen die Alkalimetallatome eingelagert sind. Die monoklinen Elementarzellen enthalten vier Formeleinheiten. Die höchstsymmetrische Raumgruppe ist C2/m. Als Gitterkonstanten ergeben sich: K\(_2\)Ag\(_4\)S\(_3\): a = 17,36(1) A, b = 4,296(2) A, c = 11,603(5) A, B = 108,32(3t; Rb\(_2\)Ag\(_4\)S\(_3\): 80 = 17,88(1) A, b = 4,331(5) A, c = 11,849(5) A, B = 108,58(3)°.
N2  - The ternary sulfides K\(_2\)Ag\(_4\)S\(_3\) and Rb\(_2\)Ag\(_4\)S\(_3\) can be synthesized by fusion reactions of alkali carbonates and sulfur with silver. X-ray investigations on single crystals suggest a new layer structure type, with a slightly distorted triangular sulfur coordination around the silver atoms. The sulfur triangles are connected together forming channels which are linked to layers. The alkali metal atoms are intercalated between these layers. The monoclinic unit cells (q. v. Inhaltsübersicht) contain 4 formula units. The space group with the highest possible symmetry is C2/m.

Eine anschließende intramolekulare ClSiMe\(_{3}\)-Eliminierung des tBu-Derivats führt zu einer Cyclisierung der BNBN-Einheit unter Bildung eines einzigartigen 1,3,2,4-Diazadiboretidin-2-yl-Liganden. Im Gegensatz hierzu steht die analoge Reaktion mit Br\(_{2}\)BN(SiMe\(_{3}\))\(_{2}\), die über eine zweifache BrSiMe\(_{3}\)-Eliminierung zu einem Pt\(^{II}\)\(_{2}\)-A-Frame-Komplex führt, der von einem linearen Isoster des Butatriens verbrückt wird. Strukturelle und theoretische Daten bestätigen eine π-Elektronen-Delokalisierung über die gesamte BNBN-Einheit.

N2  - This article concentrates on the Argentine author Esteban Echeverría who is known as the founding father of Romanticism in the River Plate region. The author of this article intends to show that the importance of Echeverría for the development of Argentine national literature goes beyond the spreading of Romanticist aesthetics. Especially his poem La cautiva (1837) has been regarded as the national epic poem of Argentina because it represents national landscape and the early days of national history. However, as the classification of this narrative poem as the national epic poem already indicates, Echeverría also contributed to the presence of this prestigious genre at the River Plate region. By investigating Echeverría‘s less known verse texts – namely the texts which were read by all Romantics but which have been neglected by literary studies so far – this article illustrates that Echeverría gave decisive impulses for the presence of the epic poem at the River Plate.

Oie meisten bieten Grafik 110m Feinsten und eine beeindruckende Benutzeroberfläche. Unterschiede gibt es in der Funlctionalität, der Fehlerhäufigkeit, beim Support und natürlich im Preis. Seit ca. einem Jahr haben wir MOLEK 9000 auf einer IRIS 40351G im Einsatz. Hier ein erster Erfahrungsbericht.

N2  - Die Kristallstruktur von 4.CH\(_3\)(C\(_6\)H\(_4\))-TI(S\(_2\)CN(C\(_2\)H\(_5\))\(_2\))\(_2\) (P2\(_1\)/c, a = 11,973(3) A, b = 10,692(3) A, c = 19,232(4) A, ß = 114,02(2)°, Z = 4) und C\(_6\)H\(_5\)-Bi(S\(_2\)COCH\(_3\))\(_2\) (P2\(_1\)/c, a = 6,395(2) A, b = 24,684(8) A, c = 9,732(3) A, ß = 101,38(3)°, Z = 4) konnte aus Röntgendiffraktometerdaten von Einkristallen ermittelt werden. Die interatomaren Abstände zeigen daß, die Koordination von Dithiocarbamat und Xanthogenat an die Metallatome wie schon vermutet stark asymmetrisch zweizähnig und ausschließlich über Schwefel erfolgt. Die Koordinationsunter· schiede zwischen Bismut und Thallium ergeben ein deutliches Indiz für die "stereochemische Aktivität" des freien Elektronenpaares am Bismutatom.

Die Verbindungen kristallisieren beide monoklin mit Elementarzellen, die jeweils 4 Formeleinheiten enthalten, sie sind jedoch nicht isomorph. Als Raumgruppe ergibt sich P21/n bzw. P21/c. Ungewöhnlich kurze intermolekulare Antimon-Chalkogen-Abstände lassen in der Struktur des Oxastibols koordinative Bindungen erkennen, die in dieser Stärke beim Thiastibol nicht auftreten.
N2  - The crystal structure of 2-methoxi-l,3,2-benzodioxastibole and of 2-methylthio- 1,3,2-benzodithiastibole was solved by X-ray diffraction methods. The compounds crystallize with monoclinic unit cells which contain 4 formula units each, they are, however, not isomorphou8. The space grol1p is P21/n and P21/c, respectively. Unusually short intermolecular antimony.-chalcogen distances revenl the existance of additional coordinative bonds within the structure of the oX3stiboJe which to such an extent cannot be observed within the corresponding thiastibole.

Die Verbindung kristallisiert mit acht Formeleinheiten in der rhombischen Elementarzelle (Raumgruppe Pbn2\(_1\)) folgender Dimensionen: a = 657,8(2) pm, b = 1245,2(4) pm, c = 2177,4(5) pm (bei 180 K). Das Schwefeldioxid ist \(\eta^1\)-koplanar koordiniert, der Cr-S-Abstand ist mit 219 pm der kürzeste bisher gefundene Abstand zwischen Chrom(O) und Schwefel. Die Cr-C(ax)-Bindung ist mit 189 pm fast genau so lang wie die Cr-C(eq).Bindungen (190 pm), ein Beleg für das hohe \(\pi\)-Akzeptorvermögen des S0\(_2\).

N2  - Die Synthese von CsAg\(_3\)S\(_2\) und RbAg\(_3\)S\(_2\) gelingt durch Umsetzungen von Alkalimetallcarbonaten mit Silber und Schwefel in der Schmelze. Röntgenbeugungsuntersuchungen an Einkristallen ergaben, daß die Schichtstruktur dieser beiden isotypen Verbindungen mit der von K\(_2\)Ag\(_4\)Sa [1] verwandt ist. In allen drei Thioargentaten fanden wir die gleichen röhrenförmigen SilberSchwefel- Verbände. Durch eine verschiedene Verknüpfung dieser Verbände wird der unterschiedlichen Stöchiometrie der Verbindungen Rechnung getragen.
N2  - Fusion reactions of alkali carbonates with silver and sulfur led to the compounds CsAg\(_3\)S\(_2\) and RbAg\(_3\)S\(_2\) X.my investigations on single crystals revealed that their structure is closely related to that of ~A~Sa (1]. A channel-Iike arrangement in the silver·sulfur network was found in both of the structures. According to the difference in stoichiometry. the compounds show a different type of linkage between these silver·sulfur channels.

N2  - KCu\(_3\)S\(_2\) kann auf dem gleichen Wege synthetisiert werden, auf dem auch verschiedene Alkalithioargentate zu erhalten sind 1,2: Das Münzmetall wird im Gemenge mit einem Überschuß von Alkalicarbonat und Schwefel etwa 1 h im Argonstrom auf 850°C erhitzt. Den erkalteten Schmelzkuchen zieht man mit Wasser aus. Die wasserunlöslichen Kristalle werden mit Wasser, Alkohol und Äther gewaschen und im Vakuum getrocknet. Bei Reaktionstemperaturen von 780-850 °C fällt KCu\(_3\)S\(_2\) in Form von schwarzen glänzenden Nadeln an. Bei niedrigeren Temperaturen entstehen die schon von W. RüDORFF3 beschriebenen Verbindungen K\(_3\)Cu\(_8\)S\(_6\) und KCu\(_4\)S\(_3\), die wir hier an Hand ihrer bekannten Pulverdiagramme identifizieren konnten.

The bismuth atoms are coordinated in form of a slightly distorted pentagonal pyramid with the free electron pair presumably directed opposite the apical C-atom.

Angesprochen werden die abflußlosen Karstdepressionen auf den Plateaudachflächen, die Rolle intensiver Verkarstung bei der Herauspräparierung von Sandsteinsäulen an Hängen, von Plateauspornen und Inselbergen, die Mitwirkung bei der Talbildung sowie Einsturzdolinen an Hängen. Im zweiten Teil wird die Mikromorphologie von Karsthöhlenüberzügen aus der Endphase der phreatischen Karstlösung beschrieben. Oberflächennahe Körner weisen starke Korrosion auf. Phosphor in der wiederausgefällten Matrix und eingekieselte Bakterien deuten auf eine organische Komponente bei der Ausbildung des tertiären Silikatkarsts.
N2  - In its first part the paper describes the morphological effects of silicate karstification on the plateau landscape of eastern Niger. The description centers on the endorheic depressions dotting the plateau surfaces, the role of intensive karstification in the formation of slope pillars, plateau spurs and inselbergs, its contribution to valley formation, as well as on collapse structures on slopes. The second part describes the micromorphology of the lining of cave walls. Near-surface grains are heavily corroded. Reprecipitated matrix containing phosphorous and silicified bacteria on quartz grains point towards an organic element in the Tertiary formation of the silicate karst.

N2  - Vorgestellt werden Lösungsformen in karbonatfreien Sandsteinen und Eisenkrusten der östlichen Republik Niger. Diese Formen haben eine außerordentlich weite Verbreitung und sind wesentliche Elemente der Landschaft. Beschrieben werden sowohl auf den Dachflächen der südsaharisch/sahelischen Schichtstufen entwickelte Depressionen mit subterraner Entwässerung als auch an Wadi hängen und steilen Stufenabschnitten gekappte, horizontal bis schräg verlaufende Höhlen und Röhren. Viele dieser Lösungsformen sind zumindest in Resten noch von einer Eisen- oder Kieselkruste ausgekleidet, die u.a. als Indiz für eine Entstehung der Formen im Grundwasserbereich angesehen werden kann. Die Anlage der Karstformen wäre demnach noch vor die Herauspräparierung der Stufen und Inselberge im ausgehenden Tertiär zu stellen. Die Karstformen in nichtkarbonatischen Gesteinen gleichen bis ins Detail denen des Karbonatkarstes. Eine initiale Formung durch äolische oder fluviatile Prozesse oder durch Piping kann ausgeschlossen werden.
N2  - The authors describe subaerial and subterranean solution features in noncarbonatic sandstones and iron crusts from eastern Niger. They are of common occurence and are an important element of the landscape. The paper discusses karst depressions of various sizes on all the plateau surfaces of the saharo-sahelian scarpland and mesa landscape, together with their subterranean network of tubes and caves. In some tubes relicts of an iron or silica coating are preserved, one evidence among other, morphological ones that the passageways developed when completely filled with groundwater. The system originated during the Miocene and became dismembered during Pliocene scarpland and inselberg formation. The noncarbonatic karst forms closely resemble those of carbonate karst. Aeolian and fluvial processes, including piping, can be excluded as having created these landforms.

Dies ermöglicht ein vollständig reversibles Schalten zwischen zwei definierten aggregierten Spezies (1D Fasern ↔ 2D Lamellen) mit unterschiedlichem photoresponsivem Verhalten. Unsere Erkenntnisse erweitern nicht nur die Reichweite von Koordinationsisomerie, sondern eröffnen auch aufregende Möglichkeiten zur Entwicklung neuartiger stimuliresponsiver Materialien.

Darüber hinaus gehören sie zu den seltenen Beispielen von elektronenpräzisen binären Borverbindungen (B\(_2\)X\(_4\), BX\(_3\), [BX\(_4\)]\(^−\)).

N2  - Umsetzung von 6,6-Dichlor-2-oxabicyclo[3.1.0)hexan (4a) in Styrol mit n-Butyllithium lieferte neben Polystyrol und t-Chlor-1- pbenylhexan (6) in geringer Ausbeute die Tet~hydrocyclobutapyrane 5, die Abfangprodukte des aus 4a generierten t-Oxa-2,3- cyclobexadiens (3). Das unbeständige 6,6-Dibrom-2-oxabicyclo( J.l.O]hexan (4b) wurde bei -60°C erzeugt un~ bei -30°C mit Methyllithium in Gegenwart von Styrol umgesetzt, woraus die Produkte 5 mit 24% Ausbeute hervorgingen. Als bei 20°C beständige Quelle für 3 erwies sich exo-6-Brom-e~o-6-fluor-2-oxabicyclo[ J.t.O]bexan (9), das aus 2,3-Dihydrofuran und Bromßuorcarben mit 25% Ausbeute bereitet wurde. Behandlung von 9 in Styrol, <X-Methylstyrol, 1,3-Butadien, 2,3-Dimet~yl-!,3-butadien, Furan und 2,5-Dimethylfuran mit Methyllithium ergab Abfangprodukte von 3 mit Ausbeuten von 31-80%. Dabei entstanden mit den Styrolen und überwiegend auch mit den l ,3-Butadienen (2 + 2]-Cycloaddukte als Diastereomerengemische, nämlich 5, ll, 13 und 15. Die Furane lieferten ausschließlieb [4 + 2]-Cycloaddukte (17 und 18), die 1,3-Butadiene nur mit einem kleinen Anteil (14 und 16). [2 + 2]- und [4 + 2]-Cycloadditionen zeigen eine unterschiedliche Chemoselektivität. Während erstere die Enolether- Doppelbindung von 3 nutzen, finden letztere an der vom Sauerstoffatom entfernteren Doppelbindung statt. Das als 1 : IGemisch aus exo- und endo-Isomeren anfallende Produkt 5 lieferte beim Erhitzen auf l50°C ein 20:1: 1-Gemiseh aus exo- und endo-5 sowie dem Strukturisomeren 19. Thermolyse· des 2: 1-Gemisches aus 13 und 14 erbrachte ein 2: 1-Gemiscb aus 14 und dem Tetrahydro-1-benzopyran 20.

The unstable 6,6-dibromobicyclo[ 3.1.0]hexane (4b) was generated at -60°C and treated witb methyllithium at -30°C in tbe presence ofstyrene providing the products 5 in 24% yield. Prepared from 2,3-dihydrofuran and bromofluorocarbene in 25% yield, exo-6-bromo-endo-6-ßuoro-2- oxabicyclo[J.t .O]hexane (9) is a stable source for 3. Thus, treatment of9 in styrene, <X-methylstyrene, 1,3-butadiene, 2,3-dimethyl- 1,3-butadiene, furan, and 2,5-dimethylfuran with methyllithium furnished interception products of 3 in 3!-80% yield. [2 + 2] Cycloadducts, i. e. 5, 12, 13, and 15, were fo!l"ed as mixtures or diastereomers with the styrenes and as main products also with the 1,3-butadienes. The furans gave [4 + 2] cycloadducts exclusively (17 and 18), the 1,3-butadienes only to a minor extent (14 and 16). [2 + 2] and [ 4 + 2] Cycloadditions display different chemoselectivity. Wbereas the former utilize the enol ether double· bond, the Iatter take place at tbe double bond more remote from the oxygen. Formed from 3 as a 1: t mixture of diastereomers, the product S gave a 20: 1: 1 mixture of exo-5, endo-5, and the structural isomer 19 on heating at 150°C. Thermolysis of the l: 1 mixture of 13 and 14 furnished a 2:1 mixture of 14 and tbe tetrabydro- 1-benzopyran 20.

N2  - Die Reaktion von Tetrachlordiazocyclopentadien mit Be.nzvalen (2) ergab das Fulven-Derivat 3. Dagegen führten die Umsetzungen von Diazoßuoren und 5-Diazo-10,1 1-dihydro-SH-dibenzo[ a.d]cyclohepten mit 2 zu den erwarteten Spiro-1-pyrazolinen 4 bzw. 5. Die photolytische Abspaltung von Stickstoff aus 4 und 5 lieferte die Spirotetracycloheptane 6 bzw. 7. Die Röntgenstrukturanalyse von 6 beweist einen engen Kontakt zwischen je eineßl Wasserstoffatom der Tetracycloheptan- und der Fluoren-Einheit. Dieser kurze Abstand (2.15 A) ruft Winkelaufweitungen hervor und wird auch als Grund für starke Entschirmungen der betreffenden Protonen und eine formal über sieben Bindungen reichende 0.6-Hz-Kopplung zwischen ihnen angesehen. 7 ist das erste chiralc Tetracyclohcptan. Ursache dafür ist eine nichtebene Konformation des Siebenrings, der bei Raumtemperatur nicht invertiert. Auf der Basis von NOE-Messungen gelang die Zuordnung der tH-NMR-Signale von 6 und 7.
N2  - The reaction or tctrachlorodiazocyclopentadiene with benzvalene (2) gavc, the fulvene derivative 3. In contrast, treatment of diazoßuorene and 5-diazo-1 0,1 1-dihydro·SH -dibenzo[ a,d]cycloheptene with l:afl'orded the expected spiro-1-pyrazolines 4 and 5, respectively. Photolytic extrusion of nitrogen from 4 and S led to the corresponding spirotetracyclobeptanes 6 and 7. The X-ray structure analysis of 6 revealed a close contact between one hydrogen atom cach of the tetracycloheptane and the ßuorene subunits. This short distance (2.15 A) causes an increase in bond angles and is believed to produce strong deshielding of the respective protons and a 0.6-Hz coupling between them, which is formally a long-range coupling across seven bonds. Compound 7 is the first chirat tetracycloheptane. This is due to a nonplanar confonnation of the seven-membered ring, which does not invert at room temperature. On tbe basis of NOE measurements the 1H-NMR signals of 6 and 7 are assigned.

N2  - Aus Benzvalen (J) und 3,6-Bis(2-pyridyl)-l,2,4,5-tetrazin wurde das Dihydropyridazin 2c erhalten, das ebenso wie die bekannten Dihydropyridazine 2a, b mit Cyclopropen in die entsprechende Azoverbindung 3 überging. Addition von Thiophenol an 3a, c und 5 lieferte unter Beteiligung des Bicyclobutan-Systems und der Azofunktion die Halbkäfigverbindungen 4a, c bzw. 6. Aus der Umsetzung von 7, in dem die Azobrücke durch zwei BicycJobutan- Systeme flankiert ist, mit Thiophenol sowie Bromtrichlormethan gingen die Halbkäfigverbindungen 8 bzw. 9 hervor. An diesen ~eaktionen wirken beide Bicyclobutan-Systeme und die Azofunktion mit.
N2  - Dihydropyridazine 2c was obtained from benzvalene (1) and 3,6- bis(2-pyridyJ)-1,2,4,5-tetrazine. Like the known dihydropyridazines 2a, b. compound 2c was converted into the corresponding azo compound 3 by treatment with cyclopropene. The addition of thiophenol to 3a, c and S yielded the half-cage compounds 4a, c and 6, respectively. In these processes the bicyclobutane system and the azo functionality are involved. Treatment of 7, in which the azo bridge has two bicyclobutane neighbours, with thiophenol and bromotrichloromethane led to the formation of the half-cage compounds 8 and 9, ~spectively. Both the bicyclobuta_ne systems and the azo functionality are transformed in these reactions.

N2  - In den Reaktionen von Tetracyanethylen (TCNE) und 5,6-Dichlor-2,3-dicyan-p-benzochinon mit Benzvalen haben wir kürzlich die ersten Beispiele für die lange gesuchte einstufige 1,4-Cycloaddition eines Alkens an ein Vinylcyclopropan gcfunden(I~J. Sie ist als [(.,2.+.2s)+ 112J-Prozeß der Dicls-Alder-Addition nahe verwandtllbl. Allerdings entsteht das betreffende TCNE-Addukt, ein Dihydrosemibullvalen-Derivat, nur in einer Ausbeute von wenigen Prozent. Die Hauptprodukte gehen aus einer Zwitterionischen Zwischenstufe hervor, die durch Anlagerung von TCNE an die Benzvalen-n-Bindung resultiert.

N2  - Das bekannte 6-0xo-2,5-diphenyl-6H-l,3,4-oxadiazin (1 a) und die neuen 2,5-Diarylderivate 1 b - g lagern Alkene an, und es entstehen stickstofIfreie Produkte. Im Falle von Cyclopropenen und Cyclobuten bilden sich die a,p-ungesättigten Siebenring-Enollactone 42 -45 bzw. das a,ß-ungesättigte Achtring-Enollacton 47. 42a und d erleiden an basischem Aluminiumoxid die H-Verschiebung zu den ß,y-ungesättigten Siebenring-Enollactonen 46a bzw. d. Bei weiteren Olefinen wurden die 'Y-Ketoketene des Typs 33 als Zwischenprodukte nachgewiesen oder sind aufgrund der Konstitution der Endprodukte wahrscheinlich. Aus 1 a werden mit Norbomen, Norbornadien, Cyc1openten, trans-Cycloocten und Styrol die Sechsring-Enollactone 10, 13, 15, 19 bzw. 21 und 22 erhalten. 10 isomerisiert mit Kalium-tert-butoxid zu 34, und die Methanolyse dieser Enollactone erbringt die diastereomeren Methy]ester 12 bzw. 35. Das y-Ketoketen 16 aus trans-Cycloocten nimmt schneller Wasser und Methanol zu 17 bzw. 18 auf als es zum Enollacton 19 cyclisiert. cis,trans-l,5-Cyc1ooctadien erbringt über die Stufe des nachgewiesenen y-Ketoketens 40 in einer intramolekularen [2 + 2J-Cyc1oaddition den Tricyclus 41. Tetracyclische Verbindungen des Typs 4 gehen aus der Umsetzung von Benzvalen (2) mit 1 hervor. Durch Röntgenstrukturanalysen wurden Konstitution und Konfiguration von 10, 19 und 41 aufgeklärt
N2  - Cycloaddition of the known 6-oxo-2,5-diphenyl-6H-1,3,4-oxadiazine (1 a) and the new 2,5- diaryl derivatives 1 b - g with various alkenes yield nitrogen free products. Using cyclopropenes and cyclobutene, a,~-unsaturated seven-membered enollactones 42-45 and the C't,ßunsaturated eight-membered enollactone 47 are formed, respectively. In the presenee of basic aluminium oxide 42a and d undergo a hydrogen migration to form the ß.y-unsaturated enollactones 46a and d, respectively. With other alkenes, y-ketoketenes 33 have been observed, or are assumed to be intennediates, based on the structure of the isolated products. Tbe six-mernbered enollactones 10, 13, 15, 19, and 21 and 22 have been obtained with norbomene, norbornadiene, cyclopentene, trans-cyclooctene, and styrene. Cornpound 10 isomerizes to 34 on treatment with potassium tert-butoxide. The rnethanolyses of these enollactones result in the formation of the diastereomeric methyl esters 12 and 35. The yketoketene 16 forrned from trans-cyc1ooctene gives acid 17 and ester 18 with water and methanol, respectively. These reactions are faster than the cyc1ization to enollactone 19. From cis,trans-l,5-cyclooctadiene the more short-lived y-ketoketene 40 is formed. which undergoes intramolecular [2 + 2] cycloaddition, giving rise to the tricyclic cyclobutanone derivative 41. Tetracyclic products of type 4 are generated from benzvalene (2) and 1. The structures and configurations of compounds 10, 19, and 41 have been determined by means of X -ray analyses.
