N2  - The University Library of Würzburg supports both the green and the golden road of open access publishing. The article introduces the institutional repository "OPUS Würzburg" which has been available to the university's members as publication server according to open access principles since 2002, and descibes especially the project "Pub95" for the re-publication of articles, chapters or books issued before 1995.
