N2  - Die vorliegende Arbeit enthält das soziolinguistische Portrait einer Stammtischgruppe aus dem Raum Unterfranken. Im Zentrum stehen Formen und Verfahren der sprachlichen Symbolisierung sozialer Identität. Das Gruppenportrait enthält neben der genauen Analyse der bedeutendsten Gesprächsthemen der Gruppe ein Kapitel der sozialregulierenden Aktivitäten und der Sprachvariation. Insbesondere die sozialregulierenden Aktivitäten wie Beziehungsarbeit und Verhaltensregulation spielen bei dieser nicht institutionalisierten Gruppe eine große Rolle. Höchste Relevanz kommt dabei eindeutig dem Klatsch zu. Neben dem präventiv verhaltensregulierenden Moment ist vor allem auf die gruppenstabilisierende Wirkung hinzuweisen. Ergänzt wird die Untersuchung letztlich durch die Analyse des ortspezifischen Dialekts mit den einzelnen Normallagen der Mitglieder und deren funktionalen Varianten. Abschließend werden alle Stilzüge in ihren Zusammenhängen dargestellt und ausgewertet.
N2  - This thesis contains the sociolinguistic portrait of a group of regular pub-goers from Lower Franconia in Germany. The thesis focuses on forms and procedures of linguistic symbolization of social identity. The portrait of the group contains, apart from the exact analyses of the most important conversation topics, a chapter on socially regulating activities and the variety of language. The socially regulating activities such as relations and behaviour play an important role analysing this group which is not institutionalized. Particular attention is turned to gossip. Apart from the preventive and regulating behaviour, emphasis is laid on the effect of stabilizing the group. Another part of the thesis deals with the group members' local dialects and their functional variations. Finally, all styles are presented and evaluated in relation to each other.
