N2  - Die Dissertation untersucht die vorstationäre, stationäre und poststationäre antibiotische Therapie bei 1724 Kindern und Jugendlichen mit parapneumonischen Pleuraergüssen/-empyemen in Deutschland. Der Untersuchungszeitraum war von Oktober 2010 bis Juni 2018. Untersucht wurden jeweils die Wirkstoffauswahl der häufigsten Mono- und Mehrfachtherapien, wie oft die Therapie im stationären Verlauf erweitert oder umgestellt wurden, sowie der klinische Verlauf der Patienten.
N2  - The dissertation examines the pre-hospital, in-hospital and post-discharge antibiotic therapy in 1724 children and adolescents with parapneumonic pleural effusion and empyema in Germany. Patients were included between october 2010 and june 2018. The most common mono- and combination antibiotic therapies, the frequency of augmentation or change of therapy and the clinical outcomes were examined.
