- Der Killer cell lectin-like receptor G1 ist ein inhibitorischer Rezeptor, der auf 40-50% der NK- Zellen sowie 1-3% der CD8+ T-Zellen der Maus exprimiert wird. In dieser Arbeit konnte KLRG1 erstmals auf einer Untergruppe von ca. 1-2% der peripheren CD4 Zellen der Maus mit Hilfe durchflusszytometrischer Untersuchungen nachgewiesen werden. Diese Population ist polyklonal und weist den Phänotyp „regulatorischer“ d.h. für die Aufrechterhaltung der Toleranz essentieller T-Zellen auf. Die Anzahl dieser Zellen bleibt im Laufe des Lebens einer MausDer Killer cell lectin-like receptor G1 ist ein inhibitorischer Rezeptor, der auf 40-50% der NK- Zellen sowie 1-3% der CD8+ T-Zellen der Maus exprimiert wird. KLRG1+CD4+ Zellen werden im Gegensatz zu den regulatorischen CD25+CD4+ Lymphozyten nicht im Thymus gebildet, befinden sich aber in allen anderen lymphatischen Kompartimenten. T-Lymphozytenfunktionstests zeigten, dass KLRG1 eine Untergruppe von CD4+ Zellen markiert, welche die Proliferation anderer CD4+T-Zellen inhibieren kann und damit funktionelle Eigenschaften regulatorischer T-Zellen aufweist. KLRG1 ist also ein neuer nützlicher Marker zur Identifikation einer Subpopulation von regulatorischen T-Zellen.…

It could be demonstrated by use of proliferation essays that KLRG1 is a marker of a subpopulation of CD4+ T-cells which inhibits proliferation of responder CD4+ cells and therefore possess characteristics of regulatory T-cells. Thus, KLRG1 is a new useful marker to identify a subpopulation of regulatory T-cells.…
