Therapiestandards schaffen.show moreshow less
  • The goal of this study was to show a representatively cross section of the fungal colonization rate in high risk preterm neonates with birth weights of less than 1500g and birth ages of less than 28 days. We obtained at a country wide deadline cultures from all preterm neonates, which are included because of the specified criteria, and examined the samples in case of antimycotic sensitivities and molecular typing. In addition we collected data about relations between colonization and infection rate and we analyzed the connection betweenThe goal of this study was to show a representatively cross section of the fungal colonization rate in high risk preterm neonates with birth weights of less than 1500g and birth ages of less than 28 days. We obtained at a country wide deadline cultures from all preterm neonates, which are included because of the specified criteria, and examined the samples in case of antimycotic sensitivities and molecular typing. In addition we collected data about relations between colonization and infection rate and we analyzed the connection between different risk factors and a further colonization. With the results we would like to give a basis for the development of uniformly prevention and therapy standards.show moreshow less
