- The main aim of this thesis was the synthesis and structural characterization of penta and hexacoordinate silicon(IV) complexes. In the course of these studies, the neutral pentacoordinate silicon(IV) complexes 38, 39, 43−48, 54 and 55 were prepared. Furthermore, the neutral hexacoordinate silicon(IV) complexes 33−36, 49, 50, 52, 53, 56−62, 63, 64 and 65 were synthesized. All compounds were characterized by elemental analyses, NMR spectroscopy in solution (1H, 13C, 15N, 29Si) and in the solid-state (13C, 15N, 29Si VACP/MAS NMR), as well asThe main aim of this thesis was the synthesis and structural characterization of penta and hexacoordinate silicon(IV) complexes.
